Free Yacht Internet & WiFi Evaluation for 70–180 ft Yachts
Reliable Starlink + 5G systems designed for yachts running South Florida and the Bahamas, so owners, guests, and crew stay online when it matters most.
Is this your yacht?
This page is for you if:
- Your yacht is roughly 70–180+ ft with full-time captain and crew.
- You run regular trips between South Florida and the Bahamas, Caribbean, or along the US east coast.
- You already have Starlink and/or 5G onboard, but internet still feels fragile or inconsistent.
- You deal with owner, guest, or charter complaints about buffering, dropped calls, or dead WiFi zones.
- No single company is responsible for the entire internet and onboard network.
If that sounds like you, internet is no longer a “nice upgrade later.” It’s an owner-trip and charter-reliability issue.
The internet problems we fix every week
Captains tell us:
- “Starlink is ‘slow,’ but everyone keeps blaming something different.”
- One Starlink and one 5G router, but no real bonding or failover.
- Guest, crew, and vessel systems all fighting on the same flat network.
- Random mix of routers, switches, and access points layered over years.
- Multiple vendors pointing fingers when something breaks on a trip.
In most cases, the problem is not Starlink. It’s the design, configuration, and lack of a true hybrid plan for how the yacht actually runs.
What you get in your free evaluation
On a 15–20 minute call, Joey, a former yacht technician who now works in technical sales, will:
- Map your routes against realistic Starlink, 5G/LTE, and marina WiFi coverage.
- Review your current stack: Starlink, 5G router, switches, WiFi, and VSAT, if installed.
- Flag the top 3–5 bottlenecks most likely to trigger owner or charter complaints.
- Outline a simple, prioritized plan showing what to keep, reconfigure, and replace over time.
- Give ballpark budget ranges and yard-window timing if a project makes sense.
No obligation. You get a clear view of where your yacht stands and what “reliable” would actually require.

Common questions captains ask
How much does a proper hybrid system cost?
It depends on yacht size, routes, redundancy, and how critical internet is for owners and charter guests. Most serious systems involve several thousand dollars in hardware, plus airtime and support. The evaluation provides realistic ranges for your specific yacht.
We already have Starlink direct. Why would we need you?
Starlink is one internet path. Performance for owners and guests depends on how that path is engineered into the onboard network, including antenna placement, cabling, routers, bonding and failover logic, VLANs for owner, guest, crew, and vessel systems, and support when something breaks.
Can you work with our yard or management company?
Yes. We regularly coordinate with shipyards, refit facilities, and management teams in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Miami, and the Bahamas. We provide engineering, drawings, hardware, and technical oversight so everyone is working from one plan.
What if we’re not ready for a big project?
Many captains start with configuration fixes, small hardware changes, or airtime adjustments that stabilize the current season. Larger upgrades can then be planned for a future yard window.
